Artist's Comments
So this is a work-in-progress.... and yes I've drawn this before, but I sold the original a while back so I've decided to draw it again-- bigger, and so far, I think better. The old one was one on sketchbook paper at about 9"x12". This one is on Crescent 300 illustration board (yum!!) and is about 15"x20" (woot!)
So I'm about 3/4 of the way done. Working on it in my spare time. Will post when its done  |

I think this one looks a little more like mel gibson than the last one.
Just a technical question... When I draw, I usually start shading from the top left down to the bottom right so that I don't smudge under my right hand. Is there a reason you kinda start from the bottom up? Do you have to worry about smudging? Are you left handed?
